Ingredients of Paneer Kofta

  1. You need 1/2 cup of green peas Cooked.
  2. You need 1 1/2 cups of paneer Shredded.
  3. You need 2 cups of potato Mashed.
  4. It’s 1/2 cup of cilantro Chopped.
  5. It’s 1/2 tsp of Ginger garlic paste.
  6. You need 1/2 cup of onion Chopped.
  7. It’s of Salt -as per taste.
  8. It’s 1 tsp of Pepper.
  9. Prepare 1 cup of Garam masala.
  10. You need 1 cup of Bread crumbs.
  11. You need 1 cup of Tomato puree.
  12. Prepare 1 of onion Chopped.
  13. Prepare 1 tsp of Ginger garlic paste.
  14. It’s 1 of Cinnamon stick.
  15. It’s 1 of Cloves.
  16. You need 1 of Cardamom.
  17. Prepare 1 of Bay leaf.
  18. It’s 1/2 cup of Cashew almond and powder.
  19. You need 1 tbsp of Heavy cream.
  20. Prepare 1 tsp of Salt.
  21. Prepare 2 of tsps Chilly powder.
  22. You need 1/2 tsp of Turmeric.
  23. It’s 1 tsp of Coriander powder.
  24. You need 1 tsp of Garam masala.
  25. Prepare 1 tsp of Pepper.
  26. Prepare 1/2 cup of cilantro Chopped.
  27. It’s of Oil-for deep frying.

Paneer Kofta instructions

  1. For making the kofta balls…mix all the ingredients given to make a soft dough including bread crumbs. Make small balls out of the dough..
  2. You can either skip bread crumbs in the dough and coat the kofta balls with beaten egg whites and roll over bread crumbs and deep fry them..
  3. Now for the gravy, in a pan heat some oil and pop some cumin,cardamom,cinnamon stick and clove..
  4. Saute the onion with ginger garlic paste,salt and turmeric..
  5. Once its done, add the puree of crushed tomato and mix well till oil separates..
  6. When the onion and tomato is cooked,add the spice powders and cilantro and stir..
  7. Now cool this mixture for few minutes and along with cashew almond powder grind this mixture to fine paste..
  8. Pour the masala paste into the pan with some heated oil and stir well till the gravy is cooked..
  9. Add heavy cream to this gravy and let is simmer for about 2 minutes and your done!.
  10. Place the kofta balls in the gravy and serve hot with Naan, Paratha and even rice..
