Ingredients of Paneer Makhani

  1. You need 1 of onion chopped.
  2. It’s 1/2 of green capsicum chopped.
  3. Prepare 3 of tomatoes chopped.
  4. It’s 1 of carrot peeled and chopped.
  5. It’s 5 of Garlic cloves chopped.
  6. Prepare 2 of green chilli chopped.
  7. It’s 2 of dried kashmiri red chilli.
  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
  9. It’s 1/2 tsp of sugar.
  10. You need 1 of bay leave.
  11. You need 2 tsp of dried kasuri Methi.
  12. You need 1 tbsp of Tandoori Masala.
  13. You need 1/4 cup of milk.
  14. It’s 1/2 cup of oil.
  15. Prepare 400 of Garam paneer cut in cubes or any shape you like.
  16. You need to taste of Salt.
  17. You need 1 tbsp of green coriander leaves chopped.

Paneer Makhani instructions

  1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in pan..
  2. Add onion and fry till they become golden brown..
  3. Add Garlic and fry..
  4. Add carrot, capsicum, tomatoes, green chilli, kashmiri red chilli and turmeric powder..
  5. Add salt and 2 cup of water to let it cook for 15 minutes on medium heat..
  6. Remove from flame and let it cool..
  7. Now grind this mixture in a blender until smooth..
  8. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add the bay leave and pureed mixture..
  9. Add kasuri Methi, salt to taste, Tandoori Masala and sugar..
  10. Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. reduce the flame and add milk and cook for another 5 minutes..
  11. Add the cubed paneer and cook for few minutes till paneer become soft. (I made a paneer in home).
  12. Remove from heat and garnish with green coriander leaves..
  13. Serve hot with roti or naan..
